Technical Sales – Wood Panel Additives
Due to the expansion of our business we are currently requiring a technical sales person for the promotion of wood panel processing auxiliaries for the wood panels industry. This is for the domestic and export markets. The applicant should have excellent knowledge in all facets of wood panel production, including particle board, MDF, paper laminating of these substrates, OSB, veneers, ply panel etc. both on continuous and discontinuous machinery. The position will encompass auxiliary product development, writing technical application data sheets, testing and application of processing auxiliaries in local and overseas markets. The applicant will enjoy the ability to travel domestically and internationally to run production trials for promotion of the products. The applicant may from time to time be required to attend technical seminars and present papers. An excellent command of the English language is essential. Additional languages could be beneficial. A position has become available for a paint chemist. The position is based in our Dandenong South plant and is casual. Initially it will be one day per week for 8 – 12 weeks. Working hours are from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
After this initial product development period, the position will be reviewed depending on the progress made.
The position is to assist in product improvement on our locally produced inorganic pigments. You need to be able to travel to and from the place of employment by your own means.
